DOMAIN NAMES ...
When choosing a domain or site name (e.g., companyname.com), look for something intuitive and easy to spell. Keeping your name simple makes it easier for customers and partners to find you and remember your web address. Unfortunately, many names are already taken, but you can always combine two or more words. When a Domain Name has been selected we will research the availability of that name, as well as appropriate variations, and provide any necessary assistance to secure ownership of the name through the desired registrar. The cost of the registration is the responsibility of the client.

For a comprehensive review of this process and requirements, we suggest the potential client visit the Webs maintained by Network Information Center (an organization that manages domain registration) at http://www.internic.net/ , or ICANN:, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers at http://www.icann.org/ .

We accept the responsibility of registering the sites we design with major search engines. Given the relationship between design and registration request acceptance, we believe it would be unreasonable to impose the requirements of this activity upon the client. It should be clearly understood, however, that satisfying this objective can be a tedious and very time consuming endeavor. In addition, we ask the client to develop an understanding of what a search engine is and how search engines are effectively utilized by both typical Internet users and professional researchers.

Concepts that merit serious considerations in your approach to the marketing of your Web!

Primary Search Engine algorithm considerations:

Page Titles, Page Descriptions, Meta-Tag Key Words, Page Key Word Density, Incoming Links, Traffic History, and Image Text Descriptions are but a few of many concepts that require constant upgrading in a dynamic and shifting landscape.

SEO ( search engine optimization ) is an ongoing process, not a one-time "fix".  The above considerations are but a few of many concepts that require constant testing, modification, and evaluation. Major search engines may incorporate as many as 100 facets in their algorithm designs ... making search engine optimization applications quite challenging when those designs are changed frequently !!

Our theory requires SEO (search engine optimization) considerations be addressed initially, during the Development and Design components of the Web Development process, and be reviewed periodically for effectiveness of application and existing engine rankings. We seek to address this requirement through comprehensive development and support processes (our "Partners-In-Business" concept) which reflect the quality concept of continuous improvement. These processes have been designed to assist the client in establishing a polished, professional Web Presence which may be identified and located through logical and realistic applications of search engine queries.
As an informative exercise, design a search query that you believe might be used by your desired visitor and submit it to the major search engines. We believe you will be astounded by the solutions ("Listings") that the search engine returns. We believe this exercise will be very enlightening and demonstrate the correctness of our approach.

INDUSTRY SPECIFIC DIRECTORIES ...
Our philosophy is to emphasize registrations with the Directories that focus on specific industries. We will submit requests for registration, and pursue such requests, with as many of the non-fee based Directories that we currently maintain in our database, or can define through structured searches. In addition, we will advise the client of additional Fee-Based Directories that may merit the client's consideration. Election of Fee-Based Directory registrations, and the associated fee, is the responsibility of the client, however, we will address any and all registration request requirements.
We will schedule reviews with the client to consider the effectiveness of our registration activities and the status of desired registrations as a standard element of our registration services. ( as referenced in our Design Schedule )
We offer external links on our "Helpful Links" page that provide Resources which address Search Engines and numerous additional Internet related topics.
